I mentioned in my previous post that while recently visiting southern California, I more than enjoyed cruising around Santa Monica. I even went as far as to say the combination of the beach and shopping was pretty much unbeatable. OK, well the truth is Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is truly the unbeatable location when it comes to shopping. Within a radius of only a few blocks, you'll find the best fashion houses and luxury specialty department stores.

While Seattle has a decent shopping scene, I do have to say that it is such a thrill to visit a Céline, Valentino, or Saint Laurent store while traveling. Feeling like I wanted to make the most out of my time in California, I stayed at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (lobby featured in photo above). A landmark since 1928, the Beverly Wilshire is conveniently located just steps from Rodeo Drive's shopping and dining. I have to say, the hotel is luxury at its finest and I will stay there any chance I get!

I started each day with a view of Rodeo drive while enjoying my breakfast at the hotel's dining spot, THE Blvd - the perfect vantage point for planning out your shopping route! For a day of shopping in warm California temperatures, I opted for an off-the-shoulder top paired with cropped jeans and black accessories.
