Today I am excited to share my New York Fashion Week day two outfit plus some behind-the-scenes photos from my jam-packed day of runway shows!

So... this dress! First, I have to say that I'm all about dark, moody floral prints right now. The combination of floral prints in rich hues layered over a black/dark background is so perfectly edgy and unexpected - all at the same time. So when I came across this Re:named Bells and Thistles Black Floral Print Dress, I couldn't have fallen more in love. With its spice market inspired red and brown floral print, 70s sheer bell sleeves, and perfectly feminine flared skirt... it is the prefect combination of all the spring trends I am currently loving (deep florals, 70s influences, and boho vibes). Unfortunately, I wasn't exactly experiencing spring weather conditions while in NYC so I had to make this dress snow-friendly by opting to layer on my go-to fur jacket, wide-brimmed wool hat, and over-the-knee boots (which are basically pants)!

This day I attended some of my favorite shows of the week, which included: Zimmerman, Sally La Pointe, and Perry Ellis. Zimmerman showed almost every look with a hat - so I was obviously an instant fan. The collection was full of 70s silhouettes and 60s prints. From maximalist to minimalist, Sally La Pointe was all about texture. Fringe, fur, knits all walked down the runway with the brand's signature minimal meets luxe point of view. Perry Ellis, well I sat behind Joe Jonas (lol). The show featured earthy tones and fun knits. I especially enjoyed the beanies with words like "happy" written on them.

Finally, I have to mention that I discovered the chicest lunch spot while ducking into the closest storefront with a heater. I was so lucky that spot was THE AMERICANO within Hôtel Americano in West Chelsea. While enjoying a late lunch in between shows, I discovered the restaurant served French fare with what they coin a Latin flair. It was delicious! I highly recommend the Vegetarian Burger (pictured above). Mmmmm... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

More fashion week coverage to come!
