New York Fashion Week Day Five Outfit
Today I am sharing with you my last and final outfit from New York Fashion Week. This day I opted to wear my black and white ombré dyed faux fur jacket by Maison Scotch. The shaggy faux fur in its unique fade out pattern made for the perfect statement layer. I accessorized the jacket with what ended up being my trending accessories of the week, that is my over the knee boots and wool hat. Since the jacket added a lot of volume, I kept the look feeling sleek and sophisticated with a collared shirt, fitted leather pants, and a touch of Chanel by way of the CC pin I added to my top.
All dressed and ready to go, I attended several runway shows but particularly enjoyed the Rachel Zoe Fall/Winter 2015 presentation! In an all white room filled with cocktails and macaroons, the setting couldn't have been better for Rachel Zoe's latest collection. As the models walked in and started to line the room, it was clear on first look that her collection was a modern take on the 60s era. Celebrating a mod-british aesthetic, there were plenty of graphic black and white pieces and structured shapes. Unexpected details like pearl embroidery, abstract animal prints, and matte sequins created a fusion of glamour and tradition within the collection. Overall, Rachel Zoe's fall collection was bold and modern as it was beautiful and timeless.
